Hand-Built Plate & Bowls Set
Join us for a relaxed and social pottery class where you'll learn to hand-build your own beautiful and functional plate and bowl set. Perfect for beginners, this workshop introduces simple and successful techniques to create these lovely pieces.
We'll guide you through hand-building both the plate and bowls using easy slab techniques and molds to achieve consistent shapes. Then comes the fun part – you'll have the chance to personalize your set by adding your own patterned decorations using vibrant underglaze transfers. We'll be working with a white stoneware clay, which will really make the colours of your chosen transfers pop and bring your creations to life.
Rest assured, we'll be using food-safe glazes, so your finished plate and bowls will be perfect for serving everything from crudités and garlic bread to snacks and dips. Of course, their usefulness doesn't stop there! Use your set to stylishly organize keys, pens, or jewellery – the possibilities are endless.
Come and enjoy the rewarding experience of hand-building your own functional pottery and adding your unique decorative touch. To give you an idea of the size, the plate will be approximately 30cm in length.

Please note your items cannot be taken home on the day. Your pottery will need to be dried, fired and glazed to the colour of your choice. They will be ready to collect from the venue approximately 2-3 weeks later.
